Legal Internship

The Becket Fund offers competitive full-time summer internships and externships for law students. Qualified candidates will have excellent research and writing skills and a demonstrated interest in religious liberty. Internships are ten weeks. Legal interns receive a stipend to contribute to expenses.

Media Intern (Winter-Spring 2016)
                                                                                        
The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty is accepting applications for a full-time (20-40 hrs), hourly intern to join its Communications Team from for four months (Feb.  – May 2016.)
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Copy edit press releases, media advisories, op-eds and website posts 
  • Create and update daily content for the Becket Fund website 
  • Compile media reports and track news coverage 
  • Create social media content for Facebook/Twitter 
  • Perform research  
  • Assist with special projects 
Qualifications: 
  • BA/BS in communications, journalism, or related field 
  • Team player with good organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills: 
  • Strong writing and editing abilities 
  • Website/HTML experience (WordPress)
  • Social media experience (Facebook, Twitter)
  • Graphic design experience preferred (Adobe Creative Suite
This job is a temporary (three months), 30– 40 hours per week, hourly rate ($10-12 dollars per hour, based on experience) position.
