Hasson to Address Texas Federalist Society Chapters

Kevin J. "Seamus" Hasson, Founder and President of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, will be in Texas this week (Feb. 10 - 13) to address Federalist Society Chapters at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth, and University of Texas in Austin.

Hasson will be debating Prof. Linda Eads of Southern Methodist University Law School on religious liberty and the First Amendment rights.  The debate will take place at 12:15 on Wednesday, Feb. 11, in Hillcrest Classroom on SMU's campus.  See the flyer below for more information.

That evening (Feb. 11) at 5 p.m., Hasson will speak to the Texas Wesleyan Federalist Society Chapter about the "Pledge Cases."  Location TBA.

On Thursday, February 12, Hasson will be at the University of Texas Law School where he will debate Professor Robert O'Neil from the University of Virginia School of Law.  The debate focusing on the Court's Establishment Clause Jurisprudence will take place at 11:30 in UT's Eidman Courtroom.  See the flyer below for more information.
