Marie graduated from Brigham Young University before joining The Becket Fund in 2009.  Her pursuit of a journalism degree took her to Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Washington, D.C. for internships at local newspapers.  She also conducted field-research about information laws in India in 2008 and worked summer jobs at the U.S. Embassies in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.  She now handles many of the administrative duties for the President and the Executive Director.

During her free time, Marie enjoys traveling, writing, reading, cooking, playing the piano, studying Japanese, playing volleyball and spending time with her family.
