Body of Belief Exhibit and Reception at the Russell Rotunda, October 27, 2005

The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty's Body of Belief Exhibit was featured on Capitol Hill at the Russell Rotunda from October 24-28, 2005, with a reception held on the 27th.

In order to represent various aspects of religious free speech through attire, “Body of Belief” contains several elements including photographs of individuals from around the world wearing distinctive religious symbols. The displays also showcase banned articles of clothing and religious artifacts which are contained in locked acrylic boxes that hinge on aluminum frames. In this photograph, the viewer can see the acrylic box displays. Among the religious items included in this exhibit are crosses, yarmulkes, Islamic headscarves, a Star of David, and a turban.
