Price Media Law Moot Court Competition

The Price Media Law Moot Court Programme at Oxford University is the world’s leading media law moot court competition. Teams of law students from around the world—including among others Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Lebanon, the Philippines, Serbia, Trinidad and Tobago, the UK and the United States—act as lawyers litigating a particular problem concerning freedom of expression in the media. The International Rounds of the competition occur first on five different continents, with the winners in each of the Regional Rounds traveling to Oxford University for the Final Rounds. Academics, practicing lawyers, and judges—including sitting judges of several different nations—hear the students’ arguments and decide which teams will advance.

Becket is proud to partner with Oxford University and the Price Media Law Moot Court Programme in this important academic endeavor.
